My Visit to the Capitol

Lost Visits Update- Late 3.25

If you haven’t been in your Capitol since elementary school, I recommend a visit.

I had an hour and a half, in-person meeting with two lawmakers in a big ol' conference room inside of our Capitol Building this month.

After a few weeks of emails requests, they agreed to schedule a face-to-face sesh to hear my sob story. It was, for me, confirmation that some of our elected officials care enough to listen with their own ears, one-on-one, instead of hiding behind social media posts and padded little coffee hours with known allies.
